Back in mid- January I completed a tiny Luigi hoop to put on my wall because the Mario I received in the ott Hoopla swap looked lonely. My boyfriend said that we needed a Bowser to keep the boys in check up there so I said "no problem!". This was supposed to be done in time for Valentines day. I had no idea how time consuming it was to complete a project that used more than five colors of floss, and because it was so tedious, I kept setting it aside after working on it for about an hour every week. The task was daunting. I finally had time this weekend and hammered out the last of it and he looks magnificent, if I do say so myself. The hoop is about 6 inches in diameter.

I'm happy with how it came out, but I told my boyfriend that I was going to sell it so I don't have to look at it anymore!

That is amazing!  You did a fantastic job.  I agree with you, cross stitch is fun, but very time consuming and tedious when your doing bigger pictures.

I can't remember the website where the pattern came from, but I know I found it after a bit of google image searching for "bowser sprite" or something similar, until I found something I liked.

This is great! Can definitely see that this would've been super time consuming to complete, which makes it all the more impressive! Smiley
