Crafting to keep insanity at bay.

I did a personal swap with MicroJivvy and made her a teesha moore bag. Without meaning to I ended up including a lot of bird themed panels, but I like how the whole thing came together. I think the spider panel is my favorite  Grin The clear beads look like water droplets - I love how it turned out.

I'd love to hear what everyone thinks!

These are fantastic.  Do you do some embroidery before you make the pillows or do you do it all through both layers of the pillow?

The embroidery is done through all the layers of the pillow so that it's quilted  Smiley

Thanks. It looks like some of it is finer than the typical #5 pearl cotton stitching that I was wondering how you were doing it.  It is beautiful work.

Mr. Jivvy, whose style is more tweed than funk, spent some time really looking at the bag today and was extremely impressed with the quality of the handiwork ("she's really good and the attention to detail is impressive").

Mr. Jivvy is not easily impressed with this sort of thing, so I just had to share.  Smiley

Aww I'm so happy Mr. Jivvy approves  Grin I feel the style is a bit haphazard and messy but that's kinda the TM style to begin with and I dig it.

I love this purse!!! Amazing detail! How can I get one?

Thank you! Right now I need a little break so I won't be doing any more personal swaps for these bags for a while, but I am hoping to open up an etsy in the near future so you could buy one as soon as I get that rolling  Wink

Yes, and that's the spot where Mr. Jivvy and I part company, lol.  He's more of the creased and pressed set.  Cheesy

Holy smokes! You're so fast! I'm still working on my first bag. Your patches are amazing, and you've done some great designs. I think you've outdone Teesha, personally. Great job!

Thanks so much! I'm actually not Teesha Moore, I just call my bags that because they're inspired by her fabric journals and the technique she uses to make them. Here's the link to her youtube videos that show how to make them
