Bah!  I've been dealing with a yucky summer cold!!  My weekend was largely wasted with tissues and fizzy cold medications.  I just don't craft well when I feel like crap.  Hopefully, I'm on the tail end of it cause my sneezing is scaring the kitten!   
Ten more days to craft!!!!  Gah!!!!!

crafting still going well

Crafting is still going... minor hiccup in that part of my main piece is not drying well. I used a newer finish and it is remaining tacky (which is definitely a problem). If I can figure out how to fix it, I am fairly pleased, but if I can't I am not sure what I will do - but I will find a crafty solution!

I'm moving right along on lacey's stuff. I saw a really cute idea online, and I'm trying to decide if I should break out the power tools and make a couple to add in.

DawnsTrees, I feel you- my _____ is taking forever to dry because we have like 99% humidity here- stupid summer. It should finally be dry by the time I have to send. Right? Maybe I should move it to the basement and hang it over the dehumidifier.

I was in the pottery studio this afternoon, and I had much better luck.  Two pieces made it safely out of the kiln and looked good.  I'll have a package to send on time!  Woo hoo!
I finished the form of another piece (a third try on the items that broke).  Optimistic or unrealistic?  I guess I'll find out soon enough.  It's smaller this time, so maybe it will be sturdier.  Fingers crossed!
