The column with the kits is just for reference. It may not be 100% For example, it may say "sewing" when you really should be sewing a certain piece of clothing. The questionnaires takes preference. These were just my notes.

I would love to swap for things kids could do in the car on a long car trip (3 girls ages 5-12). I can knit, crochet or trade yarn.

Hmmm, well I know from the tracking numbers that my US partners received a few days ago, but as one is having a baby, I thought I'd post pics.

Here's the one for basic sewing. I decided to make a kit about machine applique. I included some patterns of the appliques: tetris blocks and a pac-man ghost.

And here is the one for curved stitchery. It's a really cool type of needlework that you don't see very much.

The bandanas are the things to be decorated and used as furoshiki cloths -reusable cloths for wrapping paper and bags. Just wrap it up, tie, and away you go!

Here is my pic of my package from Calabaza:

The directions are very clear and I cant wait to get started!   I also really like that she included instructions for all kinds of cool ways to wrap stuff with fabric, I often use it as wrapping paper, but nothing this fancy!

Thanks!!

I received the basic applique kit from Calabaza.

This the cute little package I found when I opened the box.

Here are the instructions - for the applique and the furoshiki.

The templates that I can't wait to use, I already have some cute ideas. Good job tailoring them to my likes Smiley

Starter fabrics and WonderUnder so I can practice right away.

Thank you Calabaza Smiley

I received a wonderful lip balm making kit from mom2em a couple days ago.

The honey vanilla kind of exploded in transit but it made everything smell so good!

I am so excited to try this! Thanks so much mom2em!  Grin

Hooray!  I've received too!  I got a fun filled ATC & Inchie kit from lacey0828!

I wasn't expecting this til Wed. so I was super surprised to see this waiting for me when I got home!  It is very stormy here today.  Wasn't it nice of the mailman to put it in a plastic bag for me?

It was packed in a hardcore fashion.  I had to use my husband's pocket knife (which scares me) to open it.

Hooray!

I started snatching things out pretty quick, but I managed to take a picture of how well packed this kit is!  She even put my instructions in a binder, all special-style.

Look at all these goodies!  There are tons of fun things, impossible to name them all.

I actually really didn't know what ATCs or inches really were, so I really appreciated lacey0828's explanation, suggestions, & tips.  I'm already eying that 'beginner inches' swap!!  Thank you soooo much lacey0828 I'm super excited to try a new craft!

I want to point out that I had self-control enough to post before I delved into crafting.   Grin
