I claim Pearlipie for something inspired off her etsy favorites

This is my first claim. 1 claim outstanding, 0 in transit, 0 claims received.
Send by May 28

My name is Edie.  I live in South Florida with my husband -- no kids, no pets and its going to stay that way because neither are allowed in my condo... i'm 35 but live in a 55+ community that I was grandfathered into.  It's quiet?

Anyway, I'm working on renovating our Florida room into my craft room and I really want a wall filled with hoops.  I've got some great ones so far, but here is a list of themes.  You can also check out my pinterest - http://www.pinterest.com/edie22 for ideas, which is definitely more for ideas than exact replicas. (though replicas are cool too)

Themes:
~Star Trek
~Chris Pine
~Superman
~Harry Potter
~otters
~elephants
~The Goonies
~hearts
~Firefly
~Dr. Horrible
~roosters
~names -- I really like this http://pinterest.com/pin/16838003/ but with edie on it (or Chris Pine, because that would be fun.)

I also have some on my pinterest that have naughty words in them, which I would love, just a warning in case that offends anyone.  Smiley

Hi, I'm in Australia and I'm a high school art teacher (this is my first year after a career change from journalism).

I love Super Mario (expecially Goomba), karate, writing, reading, books, drawing, socks, tea, nailpolish, propaganda, Chairman Mao, Tibetan culture and language, silliness, quirkyness, skeleton keys, photography, SBS newsreader Li Lin Chin and travel. I have a travel map and Asia has so many pins in it that it's becoming quite rediculous. I'm going back in June.

Please don't post meat, bark, wood, seeds, dried fruit, plant material (or anything else listed on http://www.daff.gov.au/aqis/mail/cant-mail). It's not so relevant to this swap but I've had all the previous mentioned things confiscated from swap packages. It's not fun for anyone involved.

Small hoops are A-ok with me.

Themes
~Karate. I love my martial arts. Kicking/punching imagery, silhouettes
Karate begins and ends with respect. ~ Anko Itosu
~Propaganda
~Chairman Mao (either propaganda or doing something silly and out of character)
~Birds (especially parrots, wading birds, green or white budgies, rainbow lorikeets, eclectus parrots, peacocks)
~Bonsai
~Trees and nature
~white/ivory on white etc

Fave colours: Black, silver, dark purple, turquoise, green, red, blue
Dislike: Pink, pastels, orange (although feel free to use them as part of a design), button art, cutsey owls. I'm also not much into girliness/frills/lace etc. Please don't send witch/wicca/pagan themed material or tarot, ouija, new age stuff. I'm also not into patriotism/nationalism.

I claim Schnerby for a karate inspired hoop.

2 claims outstanding, 0 in transit, 0 claimes received

Send by May 31

Hiya everyone! I'm T! I live in GA with my husband and 2 kidlets. I'm a high school Spanish teacher who crafts to keep her sanity.

I am not picky about size nor type of hoop that you may send me. I have tons of info about my likes/dislikes in my profile as well as So You Want to Swap? page on my blog. I'm the chatty type so if you have any questions, feel free to send me a quick PM!

PLEASE, no profanity or Day of the Dead stuff!

My Wist!

My Themes

1. Celtic knotwork - pure knotwork, not zoomorphs (twisted animals/humans) which get kind of creepy

2. anything Japanese - My bathroom is decorated in a Japanese themes. Maybe something like a geisha, samurai, koi or kanji

3. something inspired by hispanic cultures for decorating my classroom. For example, I already have a Flamenco dancer and a hoop with the Aztec sun god.   (Please no Day of the Dead stuff. My admins don't quite understand this concept so I have to be very careful about what I use.)

4. Nature - I LOVE trees and clouds, not so much into the cutesified animals though.

5. Garden gnomes

6. Constellations - My favorite one is Orion.

7. Mythological creatures - Pegasus, Dragon, Unicorn

8. Something Pink, Sparkly and Princess for my daughter's room - She is 5 and quite the little Diva. She has claimed a couple of my latest hoops for her own little hoopla wall.

9. My favorite quote - "Be the change that you want to see in the World." - M. Ghandi

9. something inspired by my Wist

MY CLAIMS LIST

Send to MommytheMaid for a Badtz Maru hoop by May 26
Send to Schnerby for a karate inspired hoop by May 31

I claim skittlebub for "Something inspired by my pinterests"
Due June 2nd

1 Claims outstanding, 0 Claims in Transit, 3 Claims Received

My name is Emma and live in MI USA, working and going to school to get my degree in art! My schedule can be kind of hectic at times, but I love to slow down and craft to Netflix all day. I am a complete jeans and tshirt kind of girl, really laid back and generally I don't bite  Wink

I have fallen deeply in love with embroidery. I love 3-D and mixed media effects with it, as well as simple beautiful line drawings. I love almost every color of the rainbow, except pastels, neons, and too much pink. Right now my favorite colors are typically deep blues and teals, leafy green, and reds that range from maroon to fire engine red. I love the use of colored backgrounds, as well as beautiful natural linens, and have a collection of wooden hoops that I'd like to continue with (metal is ok too, but plastic isn't my fave). There's also a bunch of ideas and inspiration on my profile and wist.

I love snarky humor! Adult themes and language are A-ok though not required. I'm not super huge into cutesy designs. Lately I've been fascinated with steampunk designs, surrealism, and Teesha Moore style art. I'm a quirky weird kind of person and love the unusual and strange.

You can check out my pinterest for ideas of what I like.

Here are my themes!

1. anatomical hearts
2. sideshow/oddities (would love a bearded woman or tattooed lady)
3. monochromatic in reds
4. day of the dead
5. steampunk
6. "twisted" or "anti" fairy tales
7. ravens/crows
8. rainbow spectrum

Thanks for whoever claims me!

I claim Edie for "hearts" hoop.
THis is my 3rd claim

Send by June 2

Claims = 3

Hi, I'm Robin.  I am a medical coder by day but a crafter by night.  I live in Alabama (USA), in the deep south.  I love to shop in thrift stores!!! I usually buy lots of wool sweaters that I felt and then create with that fabric.  It's great since it doesn't ravel when cut.  I've been a cross stitcher for years, since I was about 15.  Had never really embroidered much since high school, but when I found Craftster, I fell in love with embroidery all over again.

I have a hoopla wall (can be seen in my images profile here on Craftster).  I am not a fan of pastel colors, but I love natural linens, pieced fabric mixed media artwork.  Almost any color will work on my hoopla wall as the wall color is white and the accent colors in this room are lime green and black.  I'm a cross stitcher and I do love x stitch, but I'm trying to focus more on embroidery or pieced fabric art with embroidery embellishments.

My themes:
1  stitched house or houses
2. R monogram
3. swirly tree
4. VW car or van (old 70's style)
5. cutesy bird (like the twitter logo)
6.  owl
7.  "doodle" stitching (see Aimee Ray http://www.etsy.com/shop/littledear?ref=seller_info or http://yougogirl.typepad.com/you_go_girl/doodle_stitching/
(claimed by SheepBlue, but I don't mind having more than 1 doodle stitched hoop)
8. beach themes - love flip flops, palm trees
9. Nautical themes - sailboats, anchors and my one BIG WISH is a compass rose

Thank you for whoever claims me

I can use any size hoop from 3" all the way up to how ever big you want to stitch

I have a WIST and Pinterest that will show some of my likes, but my flickr has a huge wall of "favorites" that will give you tons of ideas.
I don't mind a replica of a favorite on my WIST, Pinterest or Flickr, but just using something on there for "inspiration" is great also.

Claims:  Jemimah - "K" hoop (sent)
Audio - Alien hoop (send out May 25)
Edie22 - hearts hoop (send out June 2)
