Yay!!!  I'm so glad that you and the kiddos like it lani!

For everyone else, the idea of my swap item was that the Doctor had bumped into a future version of himself, traveling with lani and her lovely kids.  The TARDIS had cooked up a "Companion Survival Kit" for her, containing all the things a human might want while on extended trips through time and space, that the Doctor couldn't be bothered with, and a more kid-friendly one to keep her wee ones occupied on long shuttle drives to the Sapphire Waterfalls of Midnight.

The kid's survival kit:

Including crayons, a mini deck of cards, magnifying glass, pencil sharpener, 2 pieces of chocolate, and Doctor Who coloring books that I made.  I actually made a PDF of the coloring books, so if anyone else wants one, you can find it at this address:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B96Nw25lZKbsNDVlZmU3MGYtZjNkNS00MGM0LThkNGQtZGFlN2UwODU0YzE5/edit?usp=sharing

Lani's Companion Survival Kit:

Kit partially unpacked:

The kit contains, clockwise from top:
1 Blue Box
1 mirror (on inside of lid)
1 pad of paper (on inside of lid)
1 shiny blue pencil (not pictured)
1 cough drop (not pictured)
1 mini binder clip (not pictured)
1 First Aid Kit
1 Tea Time Kit
1 piece dark Belgian Chocolate (for rough days)
1 measuring tape
1 nail file
1 pair nail clippers
1 utility cutter
1 tube vanilla lip balm (in case of snogging)
1 pair of tweezers
1 tiny screwdriver (non-sonic)
1 seam ripper
1 packet of Venusian Spearmint breath strips
1 Vortex Needlebook containing pins, safety pins & needles
In a tiny tube: 1 mini-spindle of white thread, 1 white shirt button, 2 sew-on snaps, 3 matches
1 needle threader with magnifying glass
1 pair of scissors
1 blue rubber thimble
1 rubber band
1 hair elastic
And over on the left side in a small tube, 1 pair of earplugs

Kit completely unpacked:

Here you can also see
the First Aid Kit containing: Bandages, tripple anti-biotic ointment, alcohol prep pads, germ-x wipe, burn gel, ibuprofen & aspirin.  The first aid kit has a red cross on the front, and the back reads "I think you need a doctor."
the Tea Time Kit containing:  1 English Breakfast teabag, 1 Lady Grey teabag, 2 packets of creamer, 2 packets of sugar, salt & pepper.  The tea time kit says "Keep calm and make tea" with a picture of the TARDIS on the front, and the back says "Tea revives you."

Close up of the tape measure:

Reads:

Here's my lovely package from spidermom Smiley

It's Lady Cassandra! Isn't it a perfect likeness? MOISTURIZE ME!! I cracked up when I saw this staring at me from inside the box.

Awesome serged/cross stitched space bookmark. FRIGGIN AWESOME

Extras- monogrammed note pads, a tardis-colored pencil, and tardis glitter! I like to think the Tardis shoots out glitter as it travels through space...

Candy!! This may or may not be gone already...Wink

Thanks so much, Sara! This was such a cool little swap. Can't wait to get out of school and have time to watch Who ALL DAY LONG...maybe eventually I can make you a life-size #10 to hug and kiss Smiley

OMG! All that stuff's so rad!

Love the hoops. The one of 10 looks amazing, I know if I ever tried anything like that it would come out looking like a huge blob-ey monster. And I just cracked up when I saw the Cassandra one, it also gave me an awsome idea for a shirt (between ideas from this gallery and the stuff I've came up with for the other DW swap I'm doing, I'm gonna have a whole DW wordrobe soon).

The companion kit is just crazy- that's the only word I can think to come up with it lol. I'll definately making myself a copy of that coloring book, thanks for putting up the files for it! And I'm sooo going to have to use your tea time kit idea to make an "emergency" version for a friend of mine.

Soooooo jealous of teh sonic seam ripper.

And I've said it before and I'll say it again, you guys do some amazing things with clay.

Great jobs everyones!

I'm  so glad it finally arrived (I was getting worried) and that you are happy with everything! I didn't know you like Crosswords, but I'm glad to see that they were a good bonus. Smiley I'll have to send you ones for Seasons 4 & 5 if I ever finish them
