so tomorrow is my friend's birthday and i have been procrastinating making her gift for over a month
i had been planning on making her a travel jewelry roll but never even sketched it out
i ran to Joann's after work, grabbed supplies, then ran home to draft pattern and sew

i am very pleased with how it turned out! i love the colors i used and how it all came together... hope she loves it too  Cheesy

the blue ribbon up top is where she would hang her necklaces or bracelets and the little pockets on the bottom are to keep the charms of the necklaces safe and untangled

i also put a pocket with a velcro closure for rings and such

c&c always welcome

I totally need to make myself something like this, I hate it when I travel and I either can't take my jewellery or it gets tangled.

This is such a fabulous idea your friend will love it!

Athena: Today I was beat in a weaving contest by a mortal, so I threw a little bit of a hissy fit at her, so she hung herself...long story short she's a spider and everyone thinks I'm a bitch. FML
