Marauder's Map Wallet

I'm a major Harry Potter fan, and after seeing this bag by Papilionette and this one by Lilak Tygress, I knew had to have my own.

Just one problem--I didn't have any money around to go buy some fabric to make myself a bag. Instead I found my old wallet that I didn't use anymore, just lying on my desk, looking sad and collecting dust, and I decided to give it new life.

I just painted it with fabric paint I had leftover from another project, then drew everything on with a fabric marker and sealed it with some Mod Podge, and voila!

My Marauder's Map wallet was born

I really wish I had any sort of drawing and artistic ability.  Give me quilts and I'm fine, drawing I can't do to save my life.  Your wallet is fantastic!  I love all the detail and what a great way to give an old wallet a new chance.
