I finally got around to posting my Sketchbook!  My theme is "the grey side of life."

I found it very challenging to not use color.

"Life is not black & white, it's a million gray areas."
I LOVE that!

I dig the cover texture, too.

What technique did you use for all those images? Did you print right on the paper or do image transfers or what?

Love the grey book! And, I can understand how it would be a challenge to not use any color! But, you did a fabulous job!

Most of the images are clip art that I played with in photoshop or my own photography. I tipped them into the book after printing them out.

I wish I could see all the books in person.  That would be amazing.

I love the grey book, it turned out beautifully.

I'm still trying to get to see the books in Chicago, but it is a month before my friend's wedding and I want her to go to but $ will be very tight for her.

Thank you, everyone.  I seem to be going through one of those gray times of life and being creative is helping me keep my head on straight.  Relatively Wink

Did any of you get an email recently about some new project that the Art House Co-op is doing?
I find myself wanting to sign up for everything. I don't know how to quit them LOL

I like the new 4x6 exchange thingy on there. That sounds like big heap fun and CHEAP. Too bad it has been totally filled up already. I just got the email about it yesterday, holy cow.  But now that I know it's part of some 10x10 series, I'll know to keep my eyes peeled for next time they do something cool like that.

What am I talking about?! I don't have time to do the projects I'm already signed up for! I'm just going to shut up now.  Roll Eyes

I signed up for the Letters to Home one.  It's super simple, just a letter to your childhood home.  I've got a bit to say to that house.... It was wonderful.
