Click here to find out how to get your sketchbook at 20% off!
Thanks, art house co-op!!

art house co-op is hosting another Sketchbook Project, and a few of us thought it would be fun to participate again. According to them, "It's like a concert tour but with sketchbooks." If you'd like to see last year's craftalong, click here.

To participate this year, click this link, choose a theme, order your sketchbook, and get to work. The books will be touring all over the world next year! It was so much fun for those of us who got to go view everyone's books!

Let's work on our books together again! Post here if you've joined, you're planning to join, or you're just interested in the process. Please consider putting the theme you choose in your signature line, so when you start posting pages, we'll all have your theme at hand.  Smiley

This sounds so intriguing.  Problem is... I've never 'completed' a sketchbook in my whole life.  I tire of one and move along to another.  Might be a good time to try....  maybe.  If not, I really would like to catch the tour.

I'm so intrigued by the "I remember you" theme. I might have to join up again. Plus, they're back in Atlanta next year, so I could go back. It was really great to go and see all the books from fellow Craftsters!

Uuugh! I don't want to do it and do want to do it, all at the same time.

The "I remember you" theme is kind of speaking to me too...a book full of old photographs.

I know exactly how you feel. It was SO GREAT to go see them, though, and even though I wasn't really all that thrilled with mine when I sent it in, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it wasn't as bad as I remembered. I will just not attempt to do nearly as many pages in mine next time.

I think I've talked myself into joining again.  Cheesy

I think I'm going to try again. I didn't make it last time, but with more time this time around I think I can do it. Plus failing last time is pretty big motivation this time around!  Cheesy

I spent the day with my sister, an artist, and told her about my next sketchbook (as we walked around the MFA in Boston). She came up with a bunch of practice exercises that she wants me to try... and reminded me that drawing is a skill that can be learned with practice!

So, my sketchbook will not be a beautiful work of art, but it'll definitely fit the theme! Grin   I'm excited to get started!
