So my cousin is having a birthday in october and loves sushi.
I decided to make her a scarf! (She still wears the scarf I made for her about 7 years ago when I was starting to knit. I thought I could treat her to a new one since I've come a bit further w/ my skizzills.)

I have seen these rolled up image scarves around but only in knitted garter stitch. (ick!) I thought I could do one in a crochet shell pattern and it would be prettier and faster.

I loved the way the knubby white looked like rice!

The scarf is long enough to wrap around a couple of times but lacy enough to not cut off air flow to the lungs.

This was fun and quitck to whip up and it's personal to the recipient. Two big deals to me when making a gift (especially the fun and quick part).

Thanks for checking it out!

Nice. I love that it works rolled up as well as being worn.

Look twice, buy once. Nooooo
Look twice, decide I can make one instead.

That's an awesome scarf. I bet your cousin is going to love it.
