Haven't been able to visit here for awhile with no internet at home, I have missed my Craftster Peeps!  Kiss

Here are four journals I've completed that I think are really fun!

Keep in mind when designing your journal that it will fit easily in your backpack or purse. You should never leave home without your journal, along with a few basic supplies (Sharpies? Watercolors? Glue stick?)!

I LOVE to use canvas panels for my journal covers. They come in such a variety of sizes. My favorites are the 4"x6". I love that they are sturdy and affordable. Shop around...I found that online sources can often yield the best deals!

As in all my journals I used the 140# index stock in these. If you can't find it locally you might want to use a heavy weight watercolor paper. What I love about the index stock is it's durability and the way it readily accepts all different mediums. I give this paper a beating - and it holds up every time! Love, Love, Love it!  Grin

I've also posted a pic of the exposed spine. Notice how I use decorative paper to separate the signatures...this gives the exposed spine the artistic look I want to achieve. I usually cut the spine papers about 3 inches wide and fold them in half. You could make the paper the same size as the signature paper -- I just like doing it this way.

I hope you get inspired to make your own and share them here --- it motivates me to see the work of others -- and gives me great ideas  Grin

I'm always happy to share what I know...please be patient with my replies...I will answer!

Peace.
