I saw an advertisement in my newspaper for this shirt a few weeks ago.  Being a stay at home mom on a tight budget, this shirt was way out of my range.  I decided i wanted to try a recon of a shirt to make one for myself!  The knit is so much more mom friendly.  If my kids get something on it I can just throw it into the wash instead of having to get it dry cleaned.

It only took me about 2 hours to make, and that was while I was figuring out how to put it together.  If you want to make it yourself should probably take about an hour.  The tutorial is here: http://cooksewlove.blogspot.com/2011/04/wrap-around-blouse.html.

I'd love to hear your comments and ideas on it!  If you make one be sure to let me know how it went!  I hope my directions are clear enough for others to have the success I did!

Wow, that is so neat.  $2 and the time it took compared to $98.....that is just great!  What savings.
