Dress and Summer Shrug

I made a dress and a shrug jacket last night killing time while my husband was out late.  With a bargain bin sequin tube thing for 2 bucks and some saved fabric I bought 5 years ago, I made a new summer dress. 



I bought lots of fabric recently to start making items and selling them, but I got 2 yards extra on one cut for myself to keep.  I made a shrug for this summer.  The fabric is light so it will be good for cooler days or hotter nights.  Same pattern I used before a couple year back.  Simplicity 2773.

I really like the second picture =P. (is that what a shrug is called) I know it as a bolero or somehting like that.
But really really LOVE it. Just love al the different colors which makes it easy to where it on anything. Love the dress 2, so simple  .
