My husband is a referee for roller derby and I made him these knee pad covers. 

I knit them with Paton's wool and then felted them.  They are just big rectangles and then felted down to size.  Then I poked holes and laced them around the hard part of the knee pad.


I also made him these toe guards.  Unfortunately when I cut the hole to install them over the toe stop, I made it too big.  These ended up ripping because of that hole. Sad  I've been meaning to make him another pair.


And I made this jammer hat for my partner in the Roller Derby swap.
