I received today from Mezcraft and I love it!!! Posting photos now. Everything is going according to plan and I should be ready to send on Monday so long as the Canadian Postal service doesn't strike . The public will be informed sometime on Friday is there is going to be a strike.

Working with a metallic embroidery thread and it is kicking my butt.  Though it's pretty, it is wearing me out! Probably won't use it again for a looooooooooooooooon g time.

I mailed in a bubble mailer too. The post office lady asks me if there is anything fragile in there and I say "Well it's an embroidry hoop so I'd prefer if it wasn't smashed." She then proceeds to SMASH it with the FRAGILE stamp!  "Here, let me go ahead and mark it fragile" STAMP STAMP STAMP, flip STAMP STAMP. So I hope it didn't get pulled loose from the hoop since I did close the back. Although I guess it could be fairly easily fixed.

What is so difficult about the metallic thread? I've never used it, but seen lots of people griping about it.

Ha ha!! I've had that same thing happen to me before. I hope the hoop wasn't damaged but I do appreciate the giggle .

Hoop done! Finally, after ripping so many stitches out, it's nice to get done. I started filling in one piece and decided that looked awful. So I ripped that out and filled in another part, ha. I like the way it all turned out. 
I have to finish the back and sign it and I should be able to send it out on Thursday afternoon!

lol, your lucky they even do fragile stuff there. Here in NZ when ever I label something fragile, I get told "they dont really read it"

Hoop is in the bubble mailer, waiting to be sent.  I wrapped a bit of paper around it in case the processing machines decide to get a mite frisky.  Hoping it will travel well.

In my personal experiance I will never have them mark packages as fragile anymore.  My mom & me both have in the past had them mark things as fragile and when the packages arried you could tell they were miss handled, had dented corners, crunched, smooshed and I even peeked out our window once when the mail man was bringing a box to the house, he littereally threw the box on our porch and when I went to get it, it had 'fragile' stamps everywhere on it.  we dont have that mail man anymore thankfully.  But, now my mom and I never have them mark 'fragile' on the box as it seems that if we do the things are always broke.  As for sending embroidery hoops, Ive always used bubble mailers and Ive never had anyone tell me they received it broke or anything.

I am not sure what any of my stitches are called but they are being stitched right on schedule to finish up and send out next week...now just to figure out how to make the hoop match a bit better than it does right now...
