That I see being used in pursed to hold the fabric handles to open and close the purse?  And where would I get these?

Do you mean like a little wood stick and you stick it into a loop to close a bag? I'm pretty sure I've seen those in the button department at Joann or someplace.

I've never seen those anywhere. It looks like it could be solid in the middle with the strap holes on each end? Weird.
