hehe...to me, that name is on par with those dumb long ones they give to show dogs. And much more interesting and APT as well. ;P

On a crafting note, I sat down last night to craft and watch old movies. I was 'taking a break' from the other projects going on for this swap...and ended up starting two new ones. Pretty sure this is a disease.

Our dogs( a pug and a beagle) will not let anything hit the floor.  A skill they learned sitting under my son's high chair.  We nicknamed them Hoover and Eureka.  Then we got another pug who learned very quickly from her new sisters so she became Dyson.

On the idiot dog rant, I had to take Hoover, to the vet yesterday because she had what looked like an abscess in her mouth and wasn't feeling well.  When everything was done, she had a chicken bone stuck between her cheek and jaw, that she dug out of the trash.  $147.00.  Yes I wanted to kill her.

Needless to say no crafting done due to the beagle.  Hope to catch up this weekend, after the graduations in our family are done.  Still need to make it to Old Town.

Dogs are so nuts! They are always looking for food. I was tearing apart a leather jacket for crafting last summer at a friends house, and her beagles got ahold of the scraps and chewed them to death! I've also heard that cats like to eat needles and pins...kind of keeps me from getting one since I'm a messy crafter. Hope your pup is alright, Erica!

I'm sitting around planning what do do with the lovely items I have prepared for this swap. Yay for school being out!

Hubby actually remembered to mail out this swap package!!!!  And, even more amazing, he remembered to give me the DC# for it!  Whoo-hoo for hubby! 

It should be there by Tuesday.

my hubby's cat ate a needle when he was younger so he's definitely paranoid when I leave them around (like even stuck in the cloth I am sewing). My dog eats our underwear and socks...it's ridiculous how many new undergarments I buy because she's so good at getting them from the hamper. She eats other stupid stuff, and so did our twin pugs when we had them a few years ago. One or both of them destroyed a fur purse I had and three pairs of glasses. I cannot even begin to tally the destruction total to animals I've owned in the last seven years!!!! (we didn't have any pets with my first husband so no issues there!)

Oh, well, I guess the unconditional love they give us has a price
