I'll start by saying that this isn't for me! I just got an idea into my head to make a monochrome version of my folders and it leaned towards a wedding style and then took on a life of it's own Cheesy

I wanted to evoke a feeling of family heirlooms and collecting of bits and hand-me-downs. Bits of lace and fabrics, buttons and trinkets. Then I made a few scrapbooking style pages inside for separators or to add photos to. It became hard to stop working on it!

this is gorgeous.  I wish I'd have seen it a whole lot sooner... I need a gift for a wedding this weekend, and something so pretty would have been perfect! When I think of this style, I think color color color!  But I see it can be gorgeous without!

Lovely! I'm not sure that i've ever seen anything of yours that not covered in 1000 different colours. But this is gorgeous and elegant. And I am once again envious.  Cheesy

I must make the time next holidays to try Teesha Moore style out. It looks like so much fun! I've collected all the bits, just need to make the time.

Thank you for your lovely comments Smiley It is funny to see this style in one colour, but it seems to make the fabrics and stitches stand out even more I think.

You could always make a smaller photo album for them?

They are time consuming, especially once you get into the details, but once you get in a rhythm it seems to go by fairly quickly because it's something you can do while watching tv or on a long journey. Cheesy

Hee hee, thanks! I would LOVE to be doing that too!

Something like this would be a lot quicker than a larger one, and you could personalise the front insert for the couple: http://www.flickr.com/photos/phizzy/5568441634/in/photostream
