I'd been seeing a lot of bags similar to these but they are too expensive and I knew I could make one on my own. It was my first time doing tuck and roll and it was way easier than I thought. Its made out of sparkly vinyl and a mexican blanket from the flea market! I also made vinyl piping for the bag. To make it stand up I used cardboard but next time I will definitely look for something else that is just as sturdy but not as hard to cut! I put that underneath the lining. I love my new bag!

Totally winged it! I had made a bag similar to it before (some Amy Butler bag) so I kind of had a general idea of the shape but pretty much just made it up and learned as I went.

This is awesome.  I adore the colors and am really impressed with your piping and use of vinyl.  (I have to admit, vinyl scares me a bit!)

That is amazing!  I love it!  I've been trying to find myself a bag like that, but obviously with no luck, and I'm just too intimidated to make one of my own.  But your's is just fabulous!!!
