It seems that my birthday came TWICE this year--at least that's how it felt when I opened the package I got today from plaidpineapple.  Everything came wrapped so nicely

Here's how everything looked when I unwrapped it:

And here is a closer look at everything:  first the cute little box with a magnetic closure.  Inside I found a ton of assorted gift tags!  She also made five beautiful cards, for different occasions, including new neighbor, new baby and friendship; the other two are for any occasion.

On to the albums!  She made two lovely albums for my ATC's.  My collection is small right now, which means that these albums will be all I need for quite a while!  I've added ATC's to the small one already, as you can see in the picture.  The larger album will hold four cards on each page.  The paper strips that will hold the cards in place were SEWN onto the pages!  So cool! (Please disregard the nosy cat!)

I've saved my favorite for last:  a beautiful piece of wall art, made from paper and mounted on a wooden base.  I love the colors and the bird; the message is great too:  Keep it simple!  These colors would actually work well in any room of my home, but I will probably put it in the bedroom, since the walls in there are pretty bare!

Thank you so much, plaidpineapple, you made a wonderful package for me!  Everything is beautiful and just what I wanted!  It was really fun to get things that I don't make; you are a great swap partner!

I think my favorite is the cat in the picture.  Hehe, I also like the cute raccoon on the front.

I am going to go ahead and post what I sent slingmama since she went missing.

She had wisted a binder cover and handmade file system that I had made.  So we agreed it would be ok to go part sew part paper for her largest item.
I also made a Calendar that has pockets to be able to store notes and such in it.
Lastly was a set of bookmarks, laminated  for sturdiness, a ring binder notebook to match the bookmarks and some gift tags.

Plaidpineapple that is a gorgeous binder, in fact I love it all. I'm really hoping that Slingmomma is ok, it seems really unlike her to drop out of contact. I've got my eye on both yours and Lellibos partnering so I'll step in and organise an Angel if necessary. I'm really sure it won't come to that though.
