Ages and ages ago, I wrote about a costume I was making:

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=330014.0

Well holy crap. I guess I should FINALLY post my photos of this costume! Alas, no pix of the recipient wearing it, but I am bloody freaking proud of myself! I engineered the whole darn thing from scratch, pretty much. I had some guides here and there, but no actual "patterns" aside from the filigree stencils and an outline drawing of the metal belt doohickie. Please note that the stripes leading up into the armpits got forgotten about until after these photos were taken. They got included, though, no worries Tongue

Materials used include polyester satin, cotton/poly broadcloth, ribbons, leather, suede, canvas, metallic denim, nylon web, 6 dome buttons, and various metal findings.

You can view WAAAAAY more images on my Flickr set, which include enough close-ups to give fellow costuming enthusiasts an idea of my construction methods. If anyone has specific questions, feel free to ask!

Happy crafting!

<3 <3 <3 I can't tell you just how impressive this piece looks! Just wow! I love the belt and the shoulder cover. The details are just amazing and I could tell right away (without reading the title) what this was based on! The Assassin's Creed games are some of my hubby's favorites!
