For my husband's 41st birthday, I designed, stitched, and had Spider-man framed. The design is based on the cover of his favorite graphic novel, Spider-Man: Blue that discusses the death of Gwen Stacy.

I'm really quite proud of this one. I matched the fabric to the cover of the book, imported the image into PCStitch Pro, evened out the colors, drew in the spider on his chest and the webs. When it was framed, I made sure the matting hit each side of the web so it looked like he was swinging across the picture.

Here is the pattern if anyone would like it:

The colors in the boxes look a little off but the numbers of the DMC thread are correct. However, use 902 instead of 3802 and 154. I try to avoid pointless color changes as much as possible.
