Crafting to keep insanity at bay.

I did it. I made another one! This time as a thank you in the Givers/Needers swap. I got out the fabric paint for this one again and did some fun stencils. This time around I made the strap a bit thicker and I really like how sturdy it turned out.
Sadly my whimsy stash is quickly being whittled down so I'd love to hear any suggestions for places I can go to to restock on the cheap!  Wink Oh and any comments or crits.

Crafty porn commence!

This is really fun.  I can't decide which I like best - the rainbow buttons or the emergency button!

Holy crackers, this is awesome! Ooh, I have to get going on more of my squares, they are sitting there just waiting for some lovin' attention. Thanks for the inspiration!

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant!  I would LOVE to receive one of these (cos I'll never get round to making one for myself!)  The emergency button is genius! (I'm also a button lover).

Just make one square a month and before you know it you'll have enough for a bag or journal cover. Seriously, who doesn't have scraps laying around that are useless for anything else? I promise you that it's fun and easy. And addictive too, even though I've been on crafting hiatus for a while now...

Wowzers!  Something like this would make a great decorative throw pillow, too!  Or stretched on canvas stretchers!

For a second I read over the word "decorative" lol I don't think these would be too comfortable despite being padded. All the whimsies and whatnot I load on there would be a little uncomfortable I think hah. I have thought of making some sort of wall hanging with this style. Eventually I will break away from making bags and go on to other things.....eventual ly  Cheesy

Thanks so much everyone! I thought I'd really burn out after the first few of these, but honestly it can be done in small increments so I don't even really feel like stopping!

I really love the embroidery, especially the birds.  It's so creative!
