Is this still going on? Nothing about it is in my profile and there hasn't been much discussion....

I just sent in my "application!"  This will be my first swap.  I'm very excited, but a little nervous too!  I've lurked on the Swap Gallery boards for awhile and I've seen all the gorgeous finished products.  I sure hope I can make something just as nice!

I so want in on this swap.  It'll be my first one.  I just sent the application in a few minutes ago.  I love Disney.  I was born and raised on Disney animation.  My mom and Grandma would always take me opening night to the newest Disney.  That died down after Tarzan, though.  Apparently, they couldn't stand listening to my claims of blatant animated animal abuse in a Disney film.  That, and my complaints about Phil Collins.  I didn't hate Tarzan, per se, but it was like the reaction I have when Disney dumbs down and happifies a classic story (Hunchback, anyone?) to make it more kid friendly.  Walt Disney World is my favorite theme park on earth, just for the dark rides and EPCOT Center (where learning is fun for people who love to learn!).  Where would I be without Ellen Degeneris and Bill Nye the Science Guy teaching me all about energy (with special guest appearances by Jamie Lee Curtis and Alex Trebeck!).

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza.
