... but instead, I keep giving them to my swap partners! Here are some embroideries I've given that wanted their own topic. Smiley

This is where I learned the long and short stitch!

This is a quote from the TV show Coupling:

I really enjoy working on a lightly patterned cloth like this one.

Spike ended up in a frame, not in a hoop.

This last one was a copy of a wisted piece:

*whew* I just wanted to get these pieces out there! Thanks for looking. Smiley

WOOOW! That Spike hoop....*COVETS*  Grin Your stitching is spectacular! And the patterned cloth gives the pieces just the right touch. Truly amazing. <3

The koi are definitely now wisted! Your needlework is absolutely gorgeous Smiley I can only imagine the time it took you to do these hoops and you should definitely make the time to make one or two for yourself and get a start on that hoopla wall!

They're all really lovely and well-done.

You should hurry and join the 50-in-2011 Craftalong; our one challenge this month is to make something (anything at all!) for OURSELVES. Wink

I know what you mean!  Ive made 8 hooplas in just the round 68 & 69 ows swaps.  And thats not counting the ones I made for my mom and for other family members.  Currently my own hoopla wall has only 2 hoops.  haha.  Anyways I love that koi hoopla!  Koi are some of my favorite creatures and your hoopla of them is so pretty!  Did you use a stencil online or jsut free hand draw them for the hoop?

Want to learn to crochet or knit?  I have a ton of extra crochet hooks & circular knitting needles.  Will throw in some pattern books and yarn for anyone interested in a swap.
