Hey! I took a weaving class this winter and had the opportunity to make something. I decided to make a backpack, since place mats and dishcloths are boring. I decided to make a striped warp and use grey for the weft. i used a thicker cotton as the weft because I wanted it to go quickly, so due to limited colors i had to do a grey weft and make the warp colorful, rather than the other way around. The straps are the sampler I made at the beginning to lean different patterns and how to change color etc.
here it is:

and the back:

Thanks!

Love the colors! If I"m going to learn to make something, I figure it has to make me happy AND be useful. Your project does both! Cheesy

Sewing it wasn't hard, it was only a few seams. The biggest problem was that my machine could hardly sew through more than 2 layers of the fabric. I only broke 1 needle though!
