Dunno why I've been on a purple kick lately...but whatever.  I like purple.  lol

Went to the thrift store and saw a pair of purple jeans:

For only $6.99!

They're not something I would normally wear, so I said "okay, if they fit me, I'll buy them".....and what do you know, they wound up being exactly my size (which is a 12, which is pretty amazing that they fit, imo).

So I bought them, distressed them a bit:

And painted and glittered them with Tulip black fabric paint, star stencils, some freehanding, and some Tulip permanent fabric glitter (the wet spots and white spots were from the glitter--they later dried):

And then I bedazzled them! Cheesy
(just in the middle of the little explode-y parts....dunno how else to describe them...)

Aaannnnd this is what they look like on (with my black and purple belt to match! Cheesy)

Let me know what you think!  Smiley

Don't kill me, I mean this in the best way because MCR is my favorite band, but they remind me of killjoy pants.

I won't kill you, but I might kill MCR, since I really don't like them. -.-
Lol, seriously though, thanks! Cheesy

And lol, I dunno about that, but they're fairly easy to make if you have some stencils, fabric paint, scissors, tweezers, glitter, and a bedazzler (or just some diy clothing studs). I say you should make your own pair and post them here too so I can ogle them, lol. c( :

Hmmm, if I happen to find a pair of purple jeans during one of my frequent trips to GW & other thrift stores I'll take on that challenge!!!   Cheesy

Keep up the good work!

I know, they aren't everyone's cup of tea. I did mean it in the best way, though. And I do really love these pants. ^_^
