I love recons!  You have great vision!  And to make something you love fit into your size and lifestyle is wonderful...I especially like what you did to the top of the skirt...

The top is also cute...and I see you definitely are into purple! Smiley

Thank you so much! ^___^
And yeah, purple is my second favorite color (orange is my first favorite, but it's difficult to find orange clothing that isn't hideous, lol)

This is so amazing, really, great work!

Thank you!! ^___^

This is so beautiful.
On what planet though, are you a sz 12? Sz 12 junior?

Thanks! Smiley
And nope, I'm a women's size 12 here on planet Earth, lol. I'm about 160 pounds, but I'm also about 5'9", so I guess my height distributes my weight well... I'm also a photographer, so I know tricks for how to take more flattering photos of myself... XD
Thank you, though <3

That is absolutely fabulous! GREAT save!! Looks fantastic on you Cheesy
I love that it's two separate pieces that can be worn on their own or together. I just love it Cheesy

Thank you so much!! Cheesy
Yeah, I was super glad I was able to save it as well as I did--the majority of my clothing saving projects like these either wind up being poorly (or very awkwardly) constructed, and/or they wind up being really impractical and I never wind up wearing them...so this was a triumph for me, lol. :3

I had that exact dress when I was younger!!!  It was in my dress up stuff.  (My grandma also got it at a thrift store)

When I got older, it got thrown in my "I will eventually revamp this" pile.  Unfortunately, it got ruined.  Sad  I did manage to salvage the bow for a headband.

You did great making it wearable.  I especially love the lace up back.  Brings back great memories.   Cheesy

That is amazing! If I saw only the finished product I wouldn't guess you had reconstructed the whole thing, it looks so well finished and elegant. Great work Cheesy
