First reconstruction and first post here on the forums (I hope I can make it work!)

I got this shirt from my sister whod gotten it from our grandmother and neither of them had ever actually worn it. So I figured why not do some reconstruction work on it.

I cut it up to make it a size smaller, removed the long sleeves and sewed a couple of shorter, more puffy ones back on and adjusted the neckline to make it more summerly. All done by hand, because I dont have a sewing machine, but it was a fun experience and Im very pleased with the result - in either case it's at least way better than it was before.

That's pretty cool, and it's great that you used a shirt that was otherwise not going to be worn Smiley

What a pretty way to make that shirt wearable again.  I really like the new neckline. Great job!
