I'm a new knitter, and I seem to learn more quickly when I have a goal in mind. So I made this baby kimono for my friends' little one due at the end of April. I'm really glad I got it done early.

The pattern is here: http://www.bernat.com/pattern.php?PID=2993

The flower was from a book on knitting flowers that I got at the library.

It hasn't been washed or blocked or anything yet. I plan to wash it in Dreft before gifting it.

Wow, you did a beautiful job on your first finished object! It looks lovely, and the flower is a wonderful touch.

Thanks for all the support! If my right elbow cooperates, knitting could be addictive. I've started project #2 already.
