SO I decided to take the altered puzzle idea and turn it into a self portrait of sorts since I can't paint or draw.  I found a 24 piece puzzle and sat down to think of 24 words that I thoughts best describe who I am.  I work on the list for a couple of weeks because I really wanted to be honest about all the good and bad things that make up who I am.  Once I came up with my list I prepared my puzzle pieces and threw them all into a bag.  One by one I randomly pick a piece for each of the words and tried to express the chosen word through little pieces of art.  I did not assemble any of the puzzle until I was done...here is the final product.

This is really amazing. The self portrait concept is a great idea, thanks for explaining your process. I also like how you waited to put it together until the end. Great job!

Really pretty and interesting! I love artwork that has one look from afar and reveals its secrets close up. A great way to do a self-portrait =)

The finished product look great.  I love how all the pieces fit together to make a beautiful mosaic of you.
