Self Portrait Altered Puzzle

SO I decided to take the altered puzzle idea and turn it into a self portrait of sorts since I can't paint or draw.  I found a 24 piece puzzle and sat down to think of 24 words that I thoughts best describe who I am.  I work on the list for a couple of weeks because I really wanted to be honest about all the good and bad things that make up who I am.  Once I came up with my list I prepared my puzzle pieces and threw them all into a bag.  One by one I randomly pick a piece for each of the words and tried to express the chosen word through little pieces of art.  I did not assemble any of the puzzle until I was done...here is the final product.

I love it.  I've always wanted to do an altered puzzle, but I'm just not a paper crafter, so I'm not really sure what I would do, I feel like all my pieces would come out the same.  I love the way yours goes together, but yet they are all so different. 
My favorite pieces are the green create piece in the upper left corner and the black, red and orange flowers.

I think I want to try something like this... I've been wanting to do some "exploratory art" as I call it. I like the idea of taking an idea and creating art around it but it's kind of daunting. I was going to do it with an art journal but I think I might rather try it on a small puzzle piece instead. Much less intimidating! lol

Yours turned out great! I like the one 2nd row, 3rd in with the girls face and the rainbow one. ^_^

I saw this in the other paper thread but I love the idea so much I want to tell you how great I think this is.  You could turn the idea into a self discovery kit or something like that.  Great job!
