A couple months back, I had the idea to cover an entire pair of shoes in rainbow nonpareils. It took me some time to find the perfect pair of shoes to use (no joke, I spent an hour in the clearance section of Burlington Coat factory trying to find the matching left to the right I managed to find) and an equally long time to find a canister of rainbow nonpareils big enough for the job. turns out, I didn't actually use that many. I wish I had a camera aside from my phone to catch the glossiness of the shoes and the really sharp contrast between the colours and the black of the heels.

Tada! I added the lace detail to rid my feet of toe cleavage. I hate toe cleavage.

Here is a before and in progress shot:

I really loved these shoes on their own. They just so happen to be BCBG (a brand I would never imagine myself seeking out), they're cute, and they are COMFORTABLE. I might go back and get another pair (if I can find another pair at all, never mind in my size) to keep black.

The much requested ACTION SHOT

After Halloween, I picked up quite a few jars of black and orange nonpareils for about $0.60ea and I plan to make these shoes again: Halloween edition

Thanks for looking! Cheesy
