This easy (single crochet) and fashionable bracelet can be created in just a few minutes. Make one to match your evening outfit or for a quick present. You can use any colored wire and any fashion button to match. The options are endless!

INSTRUCTIONS:
28 gauge wire
1 fashion button
Magnetic clasp
Hook Size: D

Bracelet:
Create a chain that is long enough to wrap around your wrist, leaving a 2 inch tail.
Row 1: Turn, SC across
Row 2 - 6: chain 1, turn, SC across

Finishing:
There will be 2 tails at one end. Wrap one tail around the other a few times. Thread one half of a clasp onto the wire and secure the clasp tightly. Clip off any excess wire. Use the remaining scrap of wire to stitch the other half of the clasp onto the other end of the bracelet, threading it through the top of row 3. Clip off any excess wire.

Clip off 5 inches of wire from the spool. Thread the button onto the middle of the bracelet securely. Clip off any excess wire.

Very pretty. What gauge wire did you use?

This is very pretty! I haven't tried working with wire, but this challenge has made me want to try it. How fine does crochet wire come? (I used to use a 32g in a florist shop, do they make that?)  Is it hard on your hands to work with?

I get the wire at Hobby Lobby or Michaels near the beaded art section. It comes in quite a few different sizes. I like the 28 gauge because its thin and easy to work with. I find if you go too much smaller, it gets knotted up and harder to work with. You can't wrap the wire around your fingers as well as you can with yarn. You just have to be careful it doesn't bunch or twist. Have fun working with wire!
