I haven't checked the gallery in a little bit, so I checked today and wow... I'm loving all these hoops.  Everyone is so creative, what a great swap.

just wanted to post this after all the stetson talk...

apparantly he fell and hit his head at a cast party and was wearing it to cover the bandage!

BEST DAY EVER!!! Grin Grin Grin

I recieved my wonderful Whoop from Titaniumhip last night!!!

I utterly love Tom Baker (Doctor #4) and his trademark is an extremely long striped scarf (8 feet long knit all in garter stitch, I know because I have knit one-took forever!)

The legs are so great on this and I love the applique for the scarf! Such cleverness  Wink

The back is finished nicely with a wonderful tag that says-
"by meeka-titaniumhip.etsy.com" in orange of course.

I say I recieved it last night because we got home very late from seeing Whovian aficionado Chris Hardwick do his stand-up comedy thing. So funny! www.nerdist.com
I stitched up a little embroidery that maybe he could sign and I could hang up in my craft room next to my super cool Whoop.

And He DID!

LOVE HIM!

Husband and I got home around midnight and I had to run out (in the rain) to check the mailbox and there it was! Package from my great partner to put the cherry on top of my best day ever (of this year so far).

Thank you Titaniumhip, I love the Whoop ever so much!

I've received my awesomeness from crochetbear!
Thank you so much, crochetbear! my hoop is awesome!
ok, on to pics:
first, the Hoop!!! I love love love the TARDIS!! my camera phone doesn't take very good pictures, and my actual camera is out of commission... but it's all satin stitched! (crochetbear, you must have the patience of a saint. I'm embroidering something for the Embroidery Hoopla round 5, and satin stitch is kicking my butt! *bows*)

and the back! I love this fabric (where did you find it? it's so soft, I want a pillow out of it now!) and she even painted the hoop TARDIS blue! and signed it (sorry, it's just out of frame to the left..) and put "Dr. Whoopla 2011"!! awesomeness!

and the rest of the loot:
I got a bag of mini chewy sweetarts, and Ghirardelli Chocolate!
(by the way... how did you know that I LOVE the Chocolate/orange combo? I've never mentioned it... my favorite treat EVER is the Terry's Chocolate Orange, which, by the way, isn't sold in the states anymore...)

Crochetbear, you rocked my Monday! Thank you SO SO SO SO much for the awesome hoop (and treats!)!

Great stitching on the "bigger on the inside" hoop. Is that a flannel or fleece for the star backing? It does look nice a soft and...space-y. Great job!

Pirates....arrrrg!
