lol that's hilarious silentblair! what kind of stitching is that? is that what stumpwork is? it looks great, enlighten me Smiley

Thanks corduroy cat!
It's not stumpwork. I've tried stumpwork before and it is pretty fun. Now that you mention it, I should do another stumpwork piece.  Grin

The scarf and vespa are french knots. Really have been into those lately for a "fill in" stitch.
The cyberman and the "doctor" arm w/ sonic screwdriver are a mix of satin stitch and my bastardized version of long and short stitch.
David Tennant is just traced w/ chain stitch and embellished w/ straight stitch.

All of it was superfun to do because I love the inspiration model so much. Also I would love to have a vespa!

Awesome stuff so far!  Cheesy

I love the 3D Dalek--what a unique and awesome idea.

The "Mummy?" cross stitch freaks me out! That was one of the creepiest 'enemies' in my opinion.

And a Cyberman stealing titaniumhip's scooter? Brilliant!

I got the Dalek drawing from an adorable card krazykitty did....here is her post....http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=371887.0

HAHA! I also did my own rendition of Crazy Kitty's card in embroidery: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?board=80.0

I RECEIVED FROM RANSOM!! absolutely BEAUTIFUL package!!

First off, what's the most geeky packing material you can think of? hahah

Then a beautiful card (and I'm not joking, my living room needs this):

Everything is beautifully wrapped in TARDIS blue and white tissue paper... and ribbons that (a) match my nail varnish(?) and (b) will be recycled in my future projects:

so, without further adieu, here they are!!

beautifully finished on the back (padded too! I might steal that idea....)

and with my other geeky hoops :-)

DON'T BLINK. BLINK AND YOU'RE DEAD

...  Grin
Naw seriously, I know you said you weren't 100% happy on how the circular one turned out, but I like the simplicity of it, and the lettering is really distinctive and cool (which can be hard to achieve in Xstitch!)

THANKYOU!!

x G

I think the tardis pair are excellent. The wings do it for me.

That little surgeon is so cute! I love the whole color composition. It just pops. Grin

and that's my first ever 'pop' comment... I feel like I should be keeping track somewhere *begins a tally chart*  Grin

The Quote is From Cassandra btw, upon seeing David Tennant for the same time, in the episode where she dies. "New Earth"

Thankyou guys.

and I think you're right, the outlining is wonderfully subtle.
