I've got my plans all drawn up, I'm waiting on sales at work to get my supplies; Family and Friends discount! I'm also going to have to go to Hobby Lobby for some things, as much as I despise going to one near me (they are very unpleasant and unhelpful) but they are the only ones who carry the things I need!

You know,  I find that a lot of Hobby Lobby's are like that.  I think, personally, it's because they carry so much outside the world of crafts that it isn't as personal as some craft stores.

Really? That's crazy. I'm maddly in love with the Hobby Lobby here. They're always super nice and go out of their way to help me or find someone else that can help me. I actually dread going to Joann's or Michaels. You can never find anyone that works there and if you do they never know anything and are always really mean. Especially at Joann's, I've actually had the manager there raise his voice at me because I asked if an item was on sale. So I guess it just depends on the store.
But I do know that Hobby Lobby prides themselves on being a "Christian" store, so maybe if you complain about the empolyees and mention that they're acting rude and "unchristian" and act all offended by it they might do something about it.

I started working on my large, and it's coming along pretty well!  I have a feeling that when I'm done my husband is going to pester me into making another one for us...not that he'll have to pester very hard... Wink

I stopped off at Michaels on my lunch break earlier this week for supplies, and as of last night I have officially begun crafting! I'm working on my medium item... or one of my medium items... so many ideas this time around.

I guess it's not very nice to lump in personal experiences against a store name in general.  It probably varies.  I now that the Michaels here in my town is not as nice as the one two towns over, but I adore my Joann's here, but I've been to crappy ones.

I feel slightly guilty for generalizing.

On another note,  happy crafting!

I'm getting on really well with this now, sooo enjoying crafting at the same time as trying to work out what's going on in this series! Tonight's was good but hope they're not going to leave all these questions hanging Smiley
