Today has been super hectic. I did take a break when my box of yarnie goodies arrived... This made my whole day!

As promised, pictures of the package my amazing partner Sarahj2001 sent me! (I am seriously spoiled.)

Yarn! 

Local- some nice malabrigo yarn from the local yarn store
**I usually use cheaper yarn and have been wishing upon a star for some nice yarn. This is amazing! It's SO soft I'm so excited to use it.

Recycled- 2 balls of yarn recycled from an old ugly sweater
**I am in awe of anyone that can spin yarn. These are awesome. I'm looking forward to making something pretty out of an old ugly sweater.

Sender's Choice- Handspun (by Sarahj2001 herself) yarn
**How did you know I have always wanted to use handspun yarn? I am SO happy! This is amazing!

Project bag and spinning kit! 

Dotted (with hearts)- A cute little project bag
**I think this bag is adorable! I love the little hearts

Hard (as in difficult)- Spinning kit - "because I think spinning is quite hard!"
**I am glad you think spinning is hard because a spinning kit has been on my wish list forever! I am so excited to learn how to spin. The fiber (pre-drafted by fellow craftster Lapoli) is beautiful.

Monsters and a Moustache 

Green- Loch Ness Monster toy
**My daughter ran off with this one right away only she calls it the "Lake Nose Monster" - from Phineas and Ferb. I love my little Nessie!

Letter M- Monster bag
**I love this bag!

Funny- Mustache cowl
**I think that everything is funnier with a moustache! This is perfect ... and in my favorite color.


See? I think Nessie is funnier with a giant moustache.

Nice packages!  I didn't know there was a gallery til today...'course I've been out of town and am getting caught up w/all things Craftster!! =]

I LoVe the lemming and the Loch Nessie toy...=]  And I had thought of something hard as difficult, too...that doesn't give away AnyThinG to my partner, does it!

I love ALL of that yarn, especially the handspun! And the monsters and definitely the moustache! tee hee! Great packages!

So Craftster photo hosting is seriously trying to give me a headache, but I shall overcome because I must share the wealth that is my package from Miss Barbara!
I will try not to overwhelm you with photos, but there is a LOT of goodies to show off!
And so, in no particular order: 
"M" is for mug rug and mug cozy. A perfect fit on my new University of Minnesota mug!


Hard- a huge assortment of buttons and squished pennies (which I collect!) from the American Museum of Natural History and Hershey Park.  Little does my partner know I grew up in New Jersey and have fond memories of both of these spots!


Green- arm warmers AND leg warmers! Love the stripes!


Sender's choice- some lovely purple cotton yarn (so soft!) and some deep purpley-blue roving in case I ever get brave enough to try spinning again. The color is gorgeous! Miss Barbara, do you know what the fiber is?



AND... Crafster Photo Hosting has given my 4 copies of each of those pictures... and eaten the other categories I've tried to upload. Grr.... I'll give you the description now and try again later...

Local- postcards from Long Island, and shells from her favorite beach- how sweet!
Recycled- A yarn holder contraption made out of a soda bottle--really original! A Mesa bag from recycled yarn (this might be "M" too)--I will need to get these photos up because you will not believe the amazing detail and hard work that Miss Barbara put into this.
Dotted- a cute orange drawstring pouch lined with fun dotted fabric. Plus some extra drawstring fabric with cherries--I don't think Miss Barbara knows it's one of my favorite prints!

Then there were a LOAD of extras! Peppermint tea (yum!) fabrics, jewelry makings, ribbon, and even a bit of sweets



Miss Barbara is so thoughtful, she even included a hand-drawn monster from her daughter

This is an amazing package! Miss Barbara really put a lot of thought into it! THANK YOU!!

Oh, and this was too funny... I was hoping for armwarmers because the only pair I have were the first thing I ever knit and are definitely sporting some holes, loops, and other funky spots.  I didn't tell Miss Barbara about them, but look at this:
