Wow wow wow! What an amazing gallery! A fuzzy panda, octopi galore, suitcases, shrines, monsters, weee little beds, vine tendrils and so much more fabulousness. I'm so amazed by all these matchboxes my head is spinning. Hopefully neither mine nor Wulf's get stuck in customs too long - I can't wait!

7daytrial sent me this great little box But the coolest is the strawberry hair clippy! it rox. There are all kinds of fun doodads to play with and a second hair clippy that will be stolen by the 15 year old soon as she sees it. (it will look great on her stop sign red hear and it happens to be the next color she is dying her hair too.

Fun swap glad 7daytrial was safe during the Twisters.

Okay everybody prepared to be amazed.  I received an amazing piece created by Microjivvy.  You know, I had an inkling, based on several clues dropped by Microjivvy, that my matchbox would be a Day of the Dead matchbox.  but this was so far beyond what I could conceive.  I love it.  It is probably the coolest thing I own.

So onto it.
Here she is.  Isn't she lovely?

But wait!  She wants to show you something!

It's incredible!!!  So here are a few details (in linked thumbnails 'cuz I took SOOO many pics)

Everything about her is incredible; her translucent clothing made of ribbon; her ribs wrapping around the shrine; the papel picado; the offerings; the images of Jesus and the Virgin Mary; the itsy wine bottles and candles; the little sugar skulls; even the hinges get me!

And if that wasn't enough she still had a drawer filled to the brim with treasures!

Can you spot my favourite?  Probably not.

This miniscule fox!

Thank you SOOOO much Microjivvy.  I feel so friggin' LUCKY!!!

It gets way beyond anything I could ever imagine. Speechless at the creativity here.
And generosity!

Microjivvy!  Are you insane?  Your matchbox is AMAZING! I am speechless and that's pretty hard for me since I am a commision sales person. LOL  WOW and double WOW!  This is going into my favorite things made by others on my profile page.

Wow - there have been so many creative matchboxes in this swap that I would love to have in my collection but, in my humble opinion, the Day of the Dead matchbox is just 'WOW' - the level of detail - teeny tiny detail at that - is so impressive!!!!  Microjivvy, you have raised the bar on matchbox craft!!!!
