[jexxican]

I'm always afraid someone else is going to start this while I'm typing. Is that ridiculous for me to think? Paranoid?
Here's what I've done this week
My first dye! I used the technique at the beginning of my new Hand dyed Yarns book on some white Sheep Shed wool and this is how it came out:

And then I spun it and the kids stole it. Where is it? I don't know. Angry face!
And I did another one of these, brown and white variegated, Navajo plied, sheep shed. I love how these come out! And they are mindless to boot, which is always a bonus for me

Jexxican, I love the colors!!!    I hope that you can track down that missing yarn.  Kids can be a pain sometimes.

I haven't spun it yet but here is my work-in-progress top that I did this week.  I hope to have a few good pictures of my latest yarn posted so long as the dang sun comes back out this weekend.  I miss the sunshine!

Gorgeous yarn everyone.  Angry Hippie, I've just moved into a new apartment and your photos really make me want to unpack and set up my photography equipment.  The yarn and the quality of the photos are both fabulous.

I'm a new spinner...I've only really done 8oz of brown shetland.  I have, however, been spinning plastic bags this week.  I'm working on making reusable shopping bags from disposable one.  So far it is taking way more disposable bags than I would have anticipated.  I've spun ten disposable bags and am only 1/3 of the way through my reusable bag.  I don't have enough posts yet to post photos, but I have photos of the spun plastic on my blog.

Jexx, I do really hope you find that yarn.  I'm imagining that roving all spun, but would love to see how it really turned out!

OK, I really need a drum carder.  I am so envious of your batts, Hippie!  Not sure I could talk hubby into one, since a carder would be more expensive than my wheel was....

I don't have a finished yarn this week, but I've been spinning.  I just never have a yarn every week!  Anyhoo, stay tuned, next week I'll have a yarn that's very out-of-the-box for me.

oh, Angry Hippie... Your yarn is always drool inducing. I'm not afraid to admit that I stalk your Etsy shop. I saw your batts earlier this week and it took all my willpower to not buy them all! They are absolutely gorgeous!
