Lichtenstein's Girl with Hair Ribbon in Pompoms!

This is my first challenge entry ever! Lichtenstein's Girl with Hair Ribbon. I did the benday dots with pompoms! The first image used to be sideways, and I figured out how to fix it in Craftster's photo hosting, but now it's squished 



The canvas is really big (about 5 feet tall), and the pom poms are 5mm.

As requested, here's some closeups of the pompoms to show the texture. First the eye:

zomg, spectacularly brilliant use of pom-poms -- but as Quinn said, the texture gets completely lost in the photo. 

I'd love to see a closeup!  More pics!

Yay, figured out how to flip the image (although now it's kinda squished    I will take some closeup pics and add them so you can see the pompomy texture! I was just in a hurry to get it up before the deadline.
