I made these two pendants today, trying the tinning process for the first time. The one on the left is a temporary tattoo on manga paper and the one on the right is a photo I took of a huge sculpture in Dallas.

Here's a better pic of my photo. I call it Walking On Sunshine.

comments always appreciated!

They look cool. I'll have to try the tinning again.

I'm not sure what exactly tinning is, but I love the way they look.

They look really good!  And I very much enjoy the pic of the sculpture.  It makes me smile!

Thanks! I see unlimited possibilities for pendants, I'm a little giddy with anticipation!! The sculptures are awesome, I need to go back and get the artist's name, hate to leave him/her uncredited!. "Tinning" is really just soldering.

From the Delphiglass website: "In my reading I keep seeing mentions of tinning. What is it, and how do I do it?

Tinning is the term used to describe the action of putting a thin coat of solder over something else, for instance copper foil, a brass vase cap, or a soldering iron tip."
