I made this poppet for a friend of mine. The poppet is based on one of my friend's characters from a D&D like game. I was also going off a picture of him that my friend created. You can see the picture here.

His hair is handspun yarn and he has two gold split rings for earrings.

He has runes/scars painted all over his body with the exception of his face and back.

The green wrap around his waist was hand embroidered in gold metalic thread in a scroll pattern. His manacle has real chain.

OH MELE!! His hair is FABULOUS! And I love the scar/rune details. I might have to steal that shirt idea for the next boy poppet I do. He's completely original. I love him!!

He looks wonderful! Love the detailing on the body. Is Ravi a monk, by chance? I'm a huge D&D fan too Smiley

Ooh great job- I checked out the original pic and I love the way you interpreted the whole thing.  That must have took forever for the details!

He is gorgeous, and that needle sculpting is just fabulous!  I'm really in awe of all the little details you gave him, wow!   Shocked

Hee Hee I feel so lucky. Mele's MY Poppet Swap partner! *snatches Mele and runs*
I feel a little ashamed for not noticing before but upon a second look at Ravi I realized there was needles sculpting on the torso  Shocked I was distracted by the awesome tattoos! It's so neat and even....you're amazing!! I don't have the strength of will to do sculpting or boy bits yet  Embarrassed

The chest is not really needle sculpted. The boy pattern comes with a chest plate and all the stitching is done by machine. It's super easy and looks great.
