I knew I had to enter something in this challenge.  I have way too many pop tabs and this was a great excuse to use them. I've been seeing sunburst mirrors around the blog world and have been wanting to make my own.  Inspiration hit and I came up with this.  I spent only $10 on the round mirror.  Everything else I had on hand. I used an old metal panel for the main back piece and cut foam board for the extra spires. I was too lazy for paint so I used black gaff tape to adhere the spires and make everything black. Epoxy was used to adhere the mirror and wood glue for the tabs (all I had on hand.)   Now I have a great unique sunburst mirror that only cost me $10.  I think I'm going to hang it in my bedroom, although it's quite heavy so I'm probably going to need to either find a stub or use anchors in the drywall.

My goodness that is cool. I've entered this contest too.... but honestly I'm going to vote for yours when the time comes. The labor and attention to detail that went into your mirror is very impressive.

That is great -- at first glance, I couldn't even tell they were pop tabs! Gorgeous mirror!

This is so cool. I see sunburstmirrors everywhere, and i love them.
But I would never have thought to make it with poptabs.
I might have to use your idea.

Shocked That could easily run for $200 and I would STILL buy it for my house. AWESOME!
