All I can say is WOW.  This gallery is amazing.  I don't really do embroidery, but I love the embroidery kit.  So nifty! 

I feel bad not keeping up more with the gallery or getting my pics posted yet, but I should have them this afternoon.  I took some at home over winter break and then left my SD card in my sister's camera.  The pics supposed to appear in my email soon (ahem).

Everything looks so awesome and wonderfully crafted.  I say it a lot, but this site hosts some amazing talent!

A London bus pincushion!  I went to England in January and have become a tad obsessed with the buses.  This is such a cute, functional reminder of my trip <3



An awesome wrist rest for the computer, and a super handy miniature project bag.  I've been using it for my granny's daughters




These cute rubber stamps -- two little owls with a branch and a leaf. 



And...a donut pincushion.  Can you guess who my stalker was?

haroldlovemaude, I'm glad you liked the package I sent you!!  I spent a lot of time figuring out how I was going to do the large.  I'd originally planned on stenciling all the words, but that plan ended up not working out.  Finally I decided on cutting all the words out of fabric and gluing them to the painting. 




Now, on to the MAIN EVENT!!  The secret swap package that I received...all the way from Australia!  My number one requested item was wall art.  My amazing stalker provided me with just what I asked for and I cannot wait to get it all up!

I mentioned that I really like the use of the printed word in art.  She combined my love for that and the look of tree branches and came up with this really pretty altered page:


On my wist I had a lot of birds and tree branch items.  She used those to make me this neat three piece art set:

I mentioned that my living room is painted blue and she did a really good job of coordinating the paintings with this color!!

Last but not least is my favorite piece, inspired by my wist (my partner is really good at drawing!!)!  She used book page butterflies to perfect this beauty and I absolutely love it!

Unfortunately, the weight of the other canvases during shipping caused the canvas on this one to rip.  I'm trying to figure out how I'll fix it.  Any suggestions are much appreciated!

Who is this talented artist?  She is Australia's own NatACT!  I hadn't guessed her, but she was still on my list of possibilities.  Thank you so much for all this beautiful art Nat!!

If you hadn't mentioned the rip I totally wouldn't have noticed, I (and this is just my opinion) think it looks really cool, it looks like the butterflies are trying to escape the page, anyways, great art! Lovely packages from everyone, now if my sister would just get home so I could steal her camera and take pictures of what I received!

I didn't notice the rip till you mentioned it either.
You could try turning it over and using a lightweight fabric tape on the back.
I think the rip actually adds to the depth of the image also.

writer_crafter  those wrist warmers look great love the detail on them.
