I found this great tutorial on here by onescrappinjohnson to alter/upcycle washers from the hardware store.   http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=329854.0

Thanks, I think so too!  My grandma taught me how to macrame when I was about 9 or 10 and I have loved it since!
