This is absolutely inspired by all the awesome Zombie Defense cases around here on Craftster.

I got a shadow box frame on the cheap and decided it needed to be a zombie box.  My brayer and I did some precision duct tape work around the frame (I found sheets of duct tape that I cut to size); it seems to give it a more metal-y look compared to just painting the smooth frame.  I spray painted an airsoft gun flat black and made the first aid kit out of a sorting box that I covered, again, in a sheet of red duct tape.  (Everything is held to a piece of foam core using zip ties and glue dots.)  I made the hammer and pegs (to hold the hammer up) out of silver Sculpey and some jewelry chain.  I created a new sign based on the design floating around here, and attached a convex mirror to the upper right hand corner of the box.  Because if there is a Zombie outbreak, you should always be watching your back.  Even while arming yourself!

For such an amount of duct-tape, it looks really solid! I'd feel safer if I had this at home Cheesy

Thanks for validating my slight obsessiveness!  I was a little weary of the duct tape, but it ended up working out quite well.  I love that it comes in sheets for better crafting utilization.  Smiley  (Plus I got it on clearance, what could be better?)

And I will admit, this was also a little inspired by Left 4 Dead/2.  Yay for (killing?) Zombies!

Awesome job!  Love the border.   The mirror and crowbar are an excellent touch!

I love your attention to detail!  Very nice kit.  It looks so official.
