I've recently taken to painting on feathers, people seem to love them.
They're all done with acrylic paints on either turkey or peacock feathers.


These look pretty neat framed up in a shadowbox.

Why thank you!
Though I do use a fixative spray to try to make the feather easier to paint on, its still quite hard. Gotta use the lightest of strokes, and forget about diluting the paint to blend, it makes a huge mess on the feather that can't be removed.

absolutely stunning!! the wolf is amazing!! well they are all amazing but Im drawn to the wolf the most Cheesy

...possibly against the rules to ask this...but...do you have an Etsy? or would you be willing to do a swap for a wolf feather?! I would love to frame that up for my hubby Cheesy
