Yay for partners! I have already done a bit of painting outside today since its finally sunny! does anyone know what happens if you seal the outside of a glass/ceramic candle holder with clear gloss spray? I really really don't want to cause a fire for my partner, but don't know how to make sure that my designs won't get scratched off in transit or during use.

I don't think you need to worry about starting a fire, as it's the solvent and propellant in the spray that are flammable; once those have evaporated it shouldn't be very likely to catch fire. However, if the glass container is small enough that the walls will get hot from the candle inside, the clear finish might discolour or bubble from the heat.

I actually was pondering something similar XD

I have something I want to try, but I'm not sure if I have enough scales to do it. o_o;;; Wulf, hope for me that I have enough scales to experiment because you'll end up with something epic if I have enough scales :'D Hahaha

If not, I have a back up plan.
